Rule 5
Procedures related to the meeting
: (1) The meeting of the Central Child Welfare Committee will be held on the date, time and place specified by the Chairman of the Central Child Welfare Committee as per the need.
(2) If fifty percent of the total number of members of the Central Child Welfare Committee are present, the quorum for the meeting of the Central Child Welfare Committee shall be deemed to have been reached.
(3) The meeting of the Central Child Welfare Committee shall be presided over by the Chairman of the Central Child Welfare Committee and in his absence, the member chosen by the attending members from among themselves shall preside over the meeting.
(4) In the meeting of the Central Child Welfare Committee, the opinion of the majority shall be valid and in case of equality of votes, the person presiding over the meeting shall cast the deciding vote.
(5) Other procedures related to the meeting of the Central Child Welfare Committee shall be as determined by the Central Child Welfare Committee itself.
